Bright and newly renovated 35sqm tourist apartment with capacity for up to 4 people in a charming and lively district of Barceloneta, a 2 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Las Ramblas. It is located in a very quiet pedestrian street, but the area is full of good bars and sea food restaurants.
Elegant decoration, combination of traditional brick walls, wood-beamed ceiling and wood floors with modern furniture and fittings gives it an unusual charm and a warm atmosphere. A perfect mixture of an antique and contemporary. The flat is absolutely exterior with magnificent side view to the sea and on the old town street.

I and my sisters had a lovely stay in the apartment! Wine glasses would have been nice, though, as well as bigger cups and 2 towels/person. Otherwise we have no complaints, apart from the smell that came from the bathroom.

The location and flat in general were really great. One bad thing about our stay was, that in the week we were there they were renovating/restoring the building on the opposite site of the road, which was a bit anoying, since the workers started to make a lot of noise early in the morning. But without this it would have been great.

The apartment was in a superb location for the beach and being within a "local" area of Barcelona you certainly got the feeling of not being on holiday or a tourist. There were ample stores at of restuarants that cater for either the lcoal population or tourists. Las Ramblas and the city centre were a short 10 minute walk away and a bus stop was just at the end of the road. Taxis were also within very easy reach. If I had any issues at all, which certainly did not dampen the stay in Barcelona, it was with the bed in the main room with the matress being such that a few disturbed sleeps were experienced and the smell from the wash basin drain in the bathroom certainly made sure you knew you were in Spain. This apartment would not suit the elderly or anybody having diffculty getting up tight and steep stairs. We took two suitacses that caused some humping and grumping to get up and down. I would recommend this apartment to those that want to experience the "real" Spain. The contact person was great to deal with and spoke excellent English.
