Diagonal Mar is a newly generated area of Barcelona, a classical neighborhood that changed dramatically during the 92’ Olympics. It is close to the Forum, an exhibition centre of world cultures in 2004, which is now used as a fairground with plenty of outdoor activities. There are attractive beaches and a big shopping centre nearby. This part of the city is very attractive for people who prefer to stay in a quiet area, next to the beach. It only takes 15 minutes by underground to get to the city center.
