Selected district, where part of the upper class of the city lives. It is a quiet and safe zone. Here you find the Palace of Pedralbes (Residence of the Kings of Spain, when they visit Barcelona), with its magnificent gardens. This is also the area where most of the universities of the city are. We have the modern and complete shopping center the Illa, as well as one of the department stores “El Corte Inglés”. Very well communicated area, the metro drops you off at the Ramblas in 15 minutes. Tranvia takes you to the Francesc Macia square and a great number of buses goes to any zone of the city.
