The Formula 1 in Catalonia is traditionally the first F-1 race in Europe and it takes place at one of the world’s top motorsport racetrack, the circuit of Catalonia next to Barcelona.

Where?

The Circuit de Catalunya of Formual 1 Grand Prix is taken place in Montmelo just around 30 minutes from Barcelona city.

When?

In 2012 the Formula 1 will start on Friday 11^th of May and finish two days later 13^th of May, on Sunday.

Tickets

All tickets are valid for 3 days and you can visit all stands except the one which is reserved for the drivers.

Drivers

You might know some of the most famous drivers of Formula 1 and let’s see who win this year. It could be the last two champions of previous rates Vettel or Mark Webber, from the Ferrari team Brazilian driver Felipe Massa and also popular Spanish driver Fernando Alonso, probably the most famous for Spanish people.

Circuit de Catalunya

The Circuit de Catalunya is also known as a Circuit de Montmelo located in the province of Barcelona. It was opened in 1991 it has a capacity of 131 000 spectators. The Circuit hosts various competitions not just Formula 1 but also popular Motorcycling World Championship.
