The exhibition: Retrospective of the painter Joan Miró through his posters.
Just shortly let me remind you this great painter. Joan Miró is considered as one of the main representatives of surrealism. Firstly, he was strongly influenced by Cubism and Expressionism and with his personal touch he painted famous painting The Farm (1920). After visiting Paris his work changed to be more influenced by surrealism style.
One of his major projects was the creation of Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona. This Foundation includes a large collection of his works to show a new trend in contemporary art. You can find his works in many different cities and museum like the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, the Centre Pompidou in Paris (Musée National d’Art Moderne) and the MOMA in New York.
