A large mall in a residential area of town, there is no great reason to visit La Maquinista for the passing tourist, but visitors making a longer stay may have some interest in a different shopping location if the centre of town seems too busy.

The city´s only ´open air´ shopping centre is furthermore one of the largest in Catalunya.All the usual suspects can be found here; Zara, Benetton, H&M, Mango etc as well as a 12 screen multiplex cinema and a variety of chain restaurants.
