Barcelona has many public swimming pools, some with indoor and outdoor pools. A trip to the pool is fun for kids and can make a pleasant change for those days you don┤t feel like getting sand between your toes!
One of the best public swimming pools is right by the beach in Barceloneta at the foot of the San SebastiÓ tower. It has indoor and outdoor pools plus a kids pool. It is obligatory to wear a swimming cap in the main outdoor pool. There are also sun beds outside to lounge on in between lengths!
