In Barcelona not to be missed by animal lovers both young and old, Barcelona zoo is set in the grounds of the Parc de la Ciutadella, close to the sea.
Inhabited by a great selection of mammals, birds and amphibians, for over 30 years the star of the zoo was Snowflake, the world's only albino gorilla. However the zoo remains hugely popular destination, with other children’s favourites such as dolphins, sea lions, elephants and chimpanzees all represented amongst a truly international collection, whilst special children’s activities are organised on weekends.
Aside from the animals, there is also a restaurant, a picnic area, a mini train and a shop.
Fantastic for children and tourist families in their visit to Barcelona!!
