1. How can I make a reservation? Will my booking be confirmed immediately?

We have 24 h. online reservations system, for further information please visit how to book. In the moment you make a booking of your apartment in Barcelona, you'll receive an instant confirmation (in a few seconds) with all the details of your reservation and the apartment owner's contact details to your email address.

2. Are the prices assigned per person or per apartment?

All the prices indicated in the apartment profile are assigned per night; the amount varies depending on the number of people staying in the apartment. Please check the capacity of the apartments showed on the profile of each of them. The apartment occupancy should never exceed the stated number of guests assigned to it, except for babies under 2 years old.

3. What about the payment to make a reservation?

In order to make a reservation we require a prepayment of 20% of the total amount that can be paid online with credit card (Visas, MasterCard, American Express or Maestro are accepted), PayPal, and it is also possible to make a bank transfer (on request). The prepayment can be refunded in case of cancellations as according to our terms and conditions.

Payments transactions made by internet with our bank server with gobcn apartments are 100% safe guaranteed.

4. Are there any taxes to pay?

All the VAT taxes are included in the price. From 1st of November 2012 Catalonian government has created new tourist tax on stays in touristic establishment. (this tax is not included in final price)

The tourist tax must be paid by any person who stays in the following tourist establishments or facilities: cruise ships, hotels, tourist apartments, campsites, rural tourism establishments, youth hostels, houses for tourist use and areas provided for stays by mobile accommodation. The rate per person per night is 0,72€. The maximum of days you pay the tourist tax is 7 days. People under 17 years old don’t pay any tax.

5. How and when do I pay the remaining balance?

The remaining balance should be paid generally in cash on your arrival to the apartment directly to the owner or his representatives, but depending on the apartment the payment by bank transfer or with your credit card can be accepted. Please check the profile information for the apartment you have booked detailed information.

6. Is there any cost for cleaning?

There is a charge for cleaning that varies depending on the specific rules of each apartment. It is paid once (it's the cleaning done right before you arrive to the apartment). If you need more cleaning service during your stay, please contact the owner (it will have an extra charge). For the exact amount of the cleaning service please read thoroughly the specific terms of each apartment in its profile.

7. Do I pay any damage deposit?

Yes, the damage deposit is required upon your arrival to the apartment. It is aimed to cover any damage that can be occurred in the property during your stay. It is fully refundable on your check-out, if no damage or loss has been noticed in the apartment. The deposit amount varies depending on each apartment specific terms, so please check the profile information of the apartment you are interested in.

8. Where can we get the keys?

According to our general terms you will collect the keys at the apartment, owners or representatives will be waiting for you there at the time previously agreed with you. They will also explain you everything that needs to be known about the apartment functioning, show you how the equipment works and give you the apartment keys. But in some particular cases the guests have to go to the owner's office and pick up the apartment keys there. Please check the apartment profile for detailed information.

9. What is the check-in /out time at the apartment?

Check-in time is after 14:00 h.

Check-out time is before 11:00 h.

In 98% of our apartments there is no problem and no extra charge for late arrivals, our owners accommodate guests till late hour at night, but please contact them to arrange it previously. In some cases there is an additional fee for late check in, please check the apartments profile information for the full information.

If you are arriving earlier than the check-in time please contact the owners - if there are no clients leaving the apartment on the same day you will probably be able to check-in at your arrival time. Otherwise, they will try to keep your luggage while the apartment is being cleaned; however please remember to communicate it to the owner previously and understand that the usual check-in time is only after 14:00 h.

10. Who will meet me at the apartment?

Generally owners or representatives will be waiting for you at the apartment at the time previously agreed with you. You can find the exact apartment address in our booking confirmation email.(Remember to print our booking confirmation for your records).

11. What services are included in the price?

Electricity, gas and water expenses are included in the price; there is no extra charge for any of them.

12. What is the minimum stay in the apartments?

Our normal minimum stay is 3 nights, but some owners accept only 2 nights, please search availability online.

13. What is the cancellation policy?

14. Who will help me during my stay in the apartment?

If you have any doubts about the functioning of the equipment in the apartment, or any other questions, please contact the owners immediately. They will try to help you as soon as possible! If you need some help regarding the places to visit or more information on Barcelona you can contact the agency during business hours by telephone or by e-mail 24 h. at your service.

15. Are the apartments centrally located?

All of our apartments are located in Barcelona city center, very close to the sites of tourist attraction and have public transport access.

16. Are bed linen and towels provided in the apartment?

All of our apartments are fully equipped, fresh towels and bed linen are provided, and also the kitchen utensils. Please consult the equipment list on the apartment profile page.

17. Do you accept pets in the apartments?

According to our general terms and conditions, pets are not allowed in our apartments. However, in certain cases (blind dogs and cats) and with certain owners it is possible to bring them with you. It's the owner himself who needs to give you a special permission. Please enquire prior to reservation.

18. Do you offer special rates?

We always offer you the best prices - visit our last minute offers , for stays of more than 30 nights please ask for special rates.

19. How can I get the apartment from the airport?

From Barcelona airport we suggest you to take a taxi, as it's the fastest and the most comfortable mean of transport. It can cost about 25 or 35 € / 1 to 4 persons, and will take 15-30 min. to the city center.

You can also take a bus (so-called Aerobus), that leaves every 20 minutes to the city center and costs about 6 € / person. From one of its stops in the centre you can then take a taxi or underground to the apartment.

20. Is there any charge for late arrivals?

In 98% of our apartments there are no charges for late arrivals, but in some cases there is an additional cost for the late check in. Please consult the apartment profile information regarding this issue.

21. What is the children policy?

Children under 10 years (up to 2 kids) and babies are FREE of charge for all of our apartments. Most of the apartments have a cot for your babies available upon request without any kind of extra charge (please be sure that the apartment you are interested in has one if you need it).
