Taxi: There are always plenty of taxis waiting at the airport, and a journey into the city centre will generally cost between €20-€25 depending on traffic and where exactly you are going.. Taxis can take 4 passengers (including children), although there are an increasing number of ´minivan´ style taxis which can take more. There is a €3 surcharge for airport journeys and a €0.90 surcharge for luggage.

Aerobús: A very straightforward and inexpensive way to get to and from the city centre is by the airport bus, the distinctive blue Aerobús. This leaves from directly outside the airport terminals (stopping at A, B and C) with principal stops en route being at Plaça Catalunya, Plaça Universitat and Plaça Espanya.

In Plaça Catalunya the bus stops in front of El Corte Inglés. It runs from 5.30am-00.15am (Plaça Cataluyna to airport) and 6am-1.00am (airport to Plaça Catalunya) Mon-Sat and public holidays. Price: €3.45 It should leave every 7-10 minutes – however it is worth noting that in the busy summer months queues to get on the bus can be lengthy and you may not get on first time, so it is not a good option if you are in a hurry.
