Located opposite El Corte Ingles on the opposite side of Plaça Catalunya is another European department store giant, Fnac, a French company devoted to books, CDs, DVDs, computers, televisions cameras, stereo systems and MP3 players.The ground floor has a café and international press stands; there is also a stand selling concert tickets for many of the biggest gigs in town.The next two floors sell all the above goods at reasonable prices, often having discounts on selected products.The company prides itself on having properly trained and well informed staff (the only challenge is finding someone who is free.)Aside from the Plaça Catalunya branch there are two other Fnacs around Barcelona, in the L´Illa and Diagonal Mar shopping centres.
