One of the first major projects to redevelop Barcelona, the Glories centre is located at a junction of the three principal arteries of the city, Avenida Diagonal, Avenida Meridiana and Gran Vía.
As with most modern shopping centres, it offers visitors a variety of ways to part with their money, such as the latest fashion buys, restaurants and a 7 screen cinema.In the future its location will become far more key than at present as the development of this part of the city continues under the 22@ project, a plan to inject life into the Poble Nou area with new constructions that will house cutting edge businesses and technological companies.
