If you happen to be in Barcelona during May, fans of speed and motors need look no further than a trip to Spain´s Formula One Grand Prix! Barcelona has hosted Formula One Grand Prix races at the Circuit de Catalunya since 1991 MONTMELO when the track was constructed alongside the many sporting arenas that were raised for the 1992 Olympic Games. As well as watching the cars speeding past with your own eyes, there are also 25 giant screens located around the stadium so visitors don’t miss any of the action!
The track is located in the north of the city at Montmelò and can be reached by train. The Circuit de Catalunya track also hosts a Motorcycle Grand Prix in June.

TRAVEL TO CIRCUIT DE CATALUNYA
Trains run regularly from Sants to Montmelò, the nearest station to the track and take half an hour (€1.35 one way). Once at Montmelò it is possible to walk to the Circuit, or take a shuttle bus that is run during the Grand Prix.
